How to play memory game

Memory game, also known as Concentration, Pelmanism, Shinkei-suijaku, Pexeso and Pairs, is a popular board game that helps develop memory, concentration and improve vocabulary. Here's how to play it:

Game preparation:

Starting the game: Choose a category (lesson), enter how many cards you want to play with (max. sum of lessons or categories) and click Practice. Each card has its own pair (for example, a picture and an English word to it, or an English word and its translated equivalent).

Deal the cards: The page shuffles all the cards and places them face down on the board.

The course of the game

Player's game: The player clicks on two cards one after the other and they turn over.

  • If the cards are the same: Both cards are deleted and you continue with the next move.
  • If the cards are not the same: The cards are turned face down and you continue with the next move.

Try to remember the positions of the cards you have already seen so that you can find pairs in the following moves.

Ending the game

End of the game: The game continues until all cards have been turned over and all pairs have been found.

Tips for the game

Remember the positions of the cards: Try to remember the positions of the cards that have already been turned over, even if they were not a pair.

Concentration: Being attentive and focused during the game is key to finding all the pairs.

Play often: Pexeso is an excellent game for developing memory and attention, but it is also fun for adults. And don't forget that you also learn by playing.

Pexeso is a simple but fun game that you can customize according to the level of difficulty. The more cards there are on the board, the more challenging the game is.
