1. Purpose of the service

The website Livocabulary.com is focused on practicing and managing vocabulary for learning foreign languages. Users may store their own vocabulary and create their own content materials according to their individual needs. Livocabulary.com does not provide predefined vocabulary sets for learning.

2. User account

By registering on the website, the user creates a personal user account. After registration, the user automatically becomes the administrator of their private group of type “own”, which is intended exclusively for their personal use.

3. Groups and user roles

Users may create groups and manage their members within the limits of their current service plan. Creating new groups may be subject to a paid plan according to the current pricing available on the website.

Each group has the following user roles:

Administrator
Manages the group, its settings, and its members. The administrator may add users and teachers to the group and assign their roles. The administrator is responsible for managing the group’s content.

Teacher
May create new groups, in which they automatically become the administrator. If a teacher is added to a group by another administrator, they may manage the group’s content (vocabulary and articles) and add users with the role of “User (student)”.

User (student)
Has access to the content of the group to which they were added, without the ability to manage the group or its members.

Only users with appropriate permissions according to their role may invite users to groups.

4. User-generated content

Users may create and publish articles in the “Articles” section. Users are responsible for the content they publish.

The following is prohibited:
insulting, harassing, or using vulgar language
publishing advertisements
violating copyright laws

Livocabulary.com is not responsible for content created by users. In the event of a violation of these rules, the operator reserves the right to remove the content without prior notice.

5. Sanctions and account termination

In the event of repeated violations of the rules, the user account may be terminated. Upon account termination, all groups and articles created by the user may also be removed.

6. Ownership and content management

Content created within a group is considered group content and not the personal property of individual users, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

A user with the role of teacher who creates content within a group does not act as the owner of such content, but as an authorized content manager of the group. The owner of the group and its associated content is the user with the role of group administrator.

If a user with the role of teacher terminates their account, the content created within the group remains part of the group. If a user with the role of administrator terminates their account, all groups created by that user, including their associated content, will be removed.

The operator does not intervene in disputes between users regarding ownership or management of content and acts exclusively in accordance with the rules set out in these terms.

7. Changes to the terms

The operator reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Users will be informed of changes via email. If the user does not agree with the changes, they may terminate their account.
